ADVOCACY-ONG is a non-governmental humanitarian community development organization focused on women, youth and children, with no political, religious or governmental affiliations.
Advocacy-Ong’s mission is to equip Benin’s target populations with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes necessary to make informed decisions and undertake responsible actions towards environmental integrity, economic viability and a just society that empowers all, regardless of gender, for present and future generations, while respecting cultural and social diversity.
It has democratically-strong bodies run by people with diverse commitments to the cause. Its internal functioning reflects a democracy based on the articles of association, the by-laws and a manual of administrative and financial procedures which specify the operation of each body.
