About FLORIDA CENTRE DE FORMACIÓ COOP. V.
Florida Universitària is a higher education center with a wide range of official degrees assigned to the University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Training Cycles arranged and authorized by the Regional Gouvernment, face-to-face and semi-face-to-face, as well as programs official and own Postgraduate courses. More than 3.700 people study each course on our Campuses.
The International Relations team, together with Florida’s lecturers and researchers, generate and seek for new cooperation projects in all the fields related to education and especially to those related to our research working groups:

Florida has participated as coordinator/partner since 1999 in more than 100 European projects funded under different programmes: Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus, Grundtvig, Socrates-Minerva, Lifelong Learning, EQUAL, Progress, Daphne, Alfa III, Erasmus+, etc, in the fields of:
• Innovation in education + ICT (digitalization, e-learning, e-platforms, innovative methodologies, new training courses and materials, new teaching and assessment techniques, etc.)
• Entrepreneurship (development of entrepreneurial skills, promotion of entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship…),
• Labour and employment guidance (coaching, mentoring, advice and guidance for job search, guidelines for facing a job interview, training for companies, tutors, students, the unemployed, etc.).
• Tourism (promotion of sustainable and responsible tourism, improvement of skills of professionals in the sector in matters of management, languages, accessibility…)
• Innovation and Creativity (Development of methodologies and creation of Innovation Laboratories to train students and teachers in entrepreneurship, digital skills, social skills and creativity, methodologies to promote innovation in companies…)
• Others (3D printing, gender equality, social inclusion…)
Projects by: FLORIDA CENTRE DE FORMACIÓ COOP. V.
Project 1
- This is a social innovation project based on the differential empowerment of women domestic workers. Through the use of a specific methodology already created and to be improved, it proposes the creation of European cooperatives that generate economic autonomy for the group of women, placing value on their origins and traditions.
Project 2
- Objective:To provide student teachers with the competences to promote wellbeing among young pupils in schools and develop their wellbeing competences for life, in an integrated, human and transdisciplinary manner, and placing at the centre parameters of the ethic of care, a more respectful relationship with nature and sustainability, and inclusion. Also, training HE (Higher Education) lecturers so that they can incorporate this as part of the training programs for future teachers (Degree/Master).
Project 3
- To be decided
