Florida Centre de Formació, Coop. V. (FLORIDA) is a Valencian worker co-operative created in 1977 working in the field of education. It has a wide experience in education and training in several education levels: Higher education (university degrees, Seniors University, postgraduate courses and master’s degrees), Vocational Education and Training (higher and lower levels), continuous training and Secondary education. FLORIDA has 265 employees and 4,000 students. It operates under two brands: Florida Universitària for Higher Education (VET, University studies, Masters and Postgraduates) www.floridauniversitaria.es and Florida Secundaria for compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate https://www.floridasecundaria.es/
It is part of Florida Cooperative Education Group (FLORIDA GROUP) www.florida.es composed by Florida Centre de Formació (FLORIDA), NINOS Escoles Infantils (a network of 15 kindergartens) and Academia Júcar (XÚQUER), this group joins up 600 employees and more than 5.000 students.
Florida has participated (also as project coordinator), since 1999 in more than 120 European projects funded under different programmes: Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus, Grundtvig, Socrates-Minerva, Lifelong Learning, EQUAL, Progress, Daphne, Alfa III, Erasmus+

Project 1
- Social innovation project based on the differential empowerment of women domestic workers. Through the use of a specific methodology already created and to be improved, it proposes the creation of European cooperatives that generate economic autonomy for the group of women, placing value on their origins and traditions.
Project 2
- To provide student teachers with the competences to promote wellbeing among young pupils in schools and develop their wellbeing competences for life, in an integrated, human and transdisciplinary manner, and placing at the centre parameters of the ethic of care, a more respectful relationship with nature and sustainability, and inclusion. Also, training HE (Higher Education) lecturers so that they can incorporate this as part of the training programs for future teachers (Degree/Master).
